Flight Planning
VENUS allows the pilots, dispatchers, and briefing officers
to perform various tasks necessary for the planning for a
given flight.

databases. Such queries allow the user to specify a list of
aeronautical identifiers (aerodromes and FIRs) and a number
of selection criteria including:
- What type of information is requested (NOTAM,
METAR, TAF, etc)
- The validity time of the data (optional)
- The altitude limits (optional)
- NOTAM class, purpose, and scope (optional)
