companys corporate headquarters located in Monterey,
California, USA.
GWDI is owned by Cambridge Information Group (www.cambridgeinformationgroup.com).
Based in Bethesda, Maryland, CIG is a holding company that
controls a number of successful technology companies. As
part of CIG, GWDI benefits from access to a strong management

Experience
GWDI has been supplying data communication system including
high performance message switching systems since 1974.
Before 1984, GWDI focused exclusively on meteorological administrations
and installed WMO (World Meteorological Organization) message
switches in over 25 countries around the world.
In 1985, GWDI supplied its first AFTN Message Switch and in
1988 its first Aeronautical Information System (AIS) to automate
the management of NOTAM data and the production of pre-flight
information bulletins to the Danish Civil Aviation Administrations.
To date, GWDI has designed and implemented systems in over
40 countries around the world.

GWDI offers full range of products/solutions and services
to the world’s Civil Aviation Administrations (CAA)
and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP).
The solutions have been designed over two decades of thorough
understanding of the aviation industry needs and civilian
aviation service provider’s responsibilities. All are
in full compliance with the standards established by the International
Civil Aeronautical Organization (ICAO), Eurocontrol and the
World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
GWDI has implemented a common technology framework throughout
its solutions featuring the Linux OS, MySQL, web and thin-client
