GWDI CONDUCTS TRAINING COURSES FOR PCA STAFF

GWDI announces that it has successfully completed an advanced training course for the staff of the Presidency of Civil Aviation (PCA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
PCA has been operating the GWDI’s data communication solution since 2002.  The solution consists of two Mini Switch Terminals (MST) installed at the King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and one Message Handling System (MHS) configured for AFTN and CIDIN messages installed at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah.
 
The MHS is hosted on two pairs of powerful 64-bit RISC AlphaServer® computers from Compaq® Computer Corporation while the MST are hosted on high-end Intel Pentium® based computers.
 
GWDI recently complete a training course over a period of three weeks for the PCA staff at its headquarters in Monterey, CA.  The main purpose of the training was for the PCA staff to acquire advanced architectural, management and operational knowledge of the systems supplied by GWDI.
